"New Acquisitions" - Ross Winter and David Moore of Camera Lucida Photographs

From May 30 - June 4, 19th and 20th century photography will occupy the
front gallery at Lennox Contemporary. Ross Winter and David Moore (of
CAMERA LUCIDA photographs) present their newest acquisitions - ranging
from architecture and urban life to abstract design, deco, photojournalism, Canadian history, personalities, human interest, pictorialism and landscapes.

Some highlights: 1920's images of the people and architecture of Samarkand, Uzbekistan; a spectacular series of aerials of coastal Orange County, California from the mid-1960's; industrials and signage of New York City, ca1915; personalities such as Mae West, Greta Garbo, Frank Sinatra, Hedda Hopper; bronco bull riding; interiors of woolen mills, New England, ca1930; albumens, photogravures and cyanotypes.
